Daniel Romero, a prominent figure in the Techno scene, resides in Mexico City. Since 1999, he has been a consistent presence as a local DJ. Around 2008, he embarked on his journey of musical releases, debuting on labels including Dirty Planet, Patterns, Induxtriall Records, and Assassin Soldier under the alias Balankin. During this period, Romero also maintained a strong presence at Zua record store, one of the few remaining outlets for vinyl sales in Mexico. Subsequently, he delved back into music production, continuing to impress with releases on esteemed labels like Illegal Alien, MUTED, Default, B55, and Human, among others.

He was seduced by electronic music at a very young age, thanks in part to his father's vinyl collection and, especially, the "Max Mix" series. During those years, a passion for dance music and the Techno scene gradually grew.

His DJ sessions are characterized by a fast-paced rhythm, constant development, and a result with attitude, assertive and relentless on the dance floor. Occasionally, he seeks to surprise with a remix or unreleased version, always within a coherence in his discourse.

DAVMA has shared the stage with artists such as Chris Liebing, Truncate, Mark Broom, Alexander Kowalski, Temudo, Paula Cazenave, or Pushmann, among others, and has participated in festivals like Quartz Fest, Navarra Sur Festival, or Estaciones Sonoras.

After several years of training and research, he made his debut in music production in 2017 with his first track "No Time." His constant desire to learn, energy, and creativity are reflected in each of the tracks he produces.

As a producer, his style is characterized by elaborate, assertive, and overwhelming underground Techno, with a clear goal: the dance floor.

Currently, he has signed with many renowned record labels, including Credo, Prospect, TMM, Combine Audio, Musex Industries, Tutu, Unity, or Labrynth, among others.

His tracks have been supported by DJs such as Richie Hawtin, Ben Sims, Joseph Capriati, C.7even, Dr. Motte, Patrick DSP, Cristian Varela, and many others, and have been heard in iconic venues such as Berghain, Awakenings, or Fabrik.

Currently, DAVMA has already "snuck" into the Beatport TOP100 in the Techno category and has appeared in various specialized media such as DJ Mag, Vicious Magazine, Mixmag, or Mondo Sonoro.
